What spine-tingling urban legends does Hong Kong have?
Join us for our upcoming Halloween-themed event, "Exploring 'Ghost' Literature," and dive into these mysteries!
We invite everyone to come in costume and showcase your most creative "ghost" look! The most imaginative participant will have a chance to win a mysterious prize!

 

Speaker Bio:

Dr POON Kai-Chung is a passionate enthusiast of ghosts, urban legends, and magic.
He approaches the study of ghosts and urban legends from an academic perspective.
His published academic papers include "The Spread of Fear: A Gestalt Psychological Analysis of Hong Kong Ghost Stories" and "A Psychological Study of Ghost Story Readers."
While others study psychology to improve mental health, his research aims to understand how to evoke fear.
